Good news, guys! Showtime is releasing the first episode of Billions Season 2 on demand on February 10th, a week before it’s set to premiere. You should be able to find the episode here. Thanks, Showtime!
It’s not every television series that concludes its first season with references to a minor-key classic Francis Ford Coppola film, Randian economics, and the punk band Titus Andronicus, but Showtime’s Billions is a breed apart—a complex drama about ego and obsession filtered through the world of New York high finance. Dubbed by the New York Times as a “12-round, bare-knuckled brawl fought by men with manicured hands,” the series, about to enter its second season, centers on U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades’s (Paul Giamatti) zealous pursuit of ridiculously wealthy financier Bobby “Axe” Axelrod (Damian Lewis), and on Chuck’s wife Wendy (Maggie Siff), who is caught in the middle.
Join us for a sneak peek at season two and a chat with members of the cast (Paul Giamatti, “Chuck Rhoades”, Damian Lewis, “Bobby Axelrod”, Maggie Siff, “Wendy Rhoades, M.D.”, Malin Åkerman, “Lara Axelrod”, David Costabile, “Mike “Wags” Wagner”, Condola Rashād, “Kate Sacker”, Toby Leonard Moore, “Bryan Connerty”) and creative team (Brian Koppelman, Showrunner and David Levien, Showrunner).
The panel will take place this Monday, December 5th, 2016, at 6:30ET in New York.
Our beloved Maggie Siff has been nominated for a Satellite Award for Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture made for Television. Other nominees include Lena Headey, Maura Tierney, Olivia Colman and Rhea Seehorn. Best wishes and lots of luck to all the nominees, but especially our girl.
The International Press Academy will hand out its awards on Feb. 19th, the same night as the Billions Season 2 Premiere.
Check out the first look at season two of #Billions, premiering on Sunday, Feb. 19th at 10 pm ET/PT!
